Product Details
Aniline, also known as aminobenzene, is an organic compound that appears as a colorless oily liquid. It decomposes upon heating to 370°C, is slightly soluble in water, and readily dissolves in organic solvents such as ethanol and diethyl ether. Aniline is one of the most important amine compounds. It is primarily used in the production of dyes, pharmaceuticals, and resins, and can also serve as a rubber vulcanization accelerator. The compound itself can be employed as a black dye. Its derivative, methyl orange, functions as an indicator in acid–base titrations.
